Santo Mauro invites you into a 19th-century palace reborn as one of Madrid’s most discreet and artful luxury hotels. Once the residence of the Duke of Santo Mauro, this French-style mansion unfolds across three wings around a lush private garden, shaded by ancient chestnut trees and animated by fountains and serene stone terraces. Inside, each room and public space is a treasure trove of history and design—from the vivid French Classicism of the Red Room to the exotic curios collected in the Chinese Lounge, to the library turned restaurant where literary ambiance meets fine cuisine.
Here, every moment feels curated — a tête-à-tête in the Gin Bar, a walk through hidden gardens, or a dinner by candlelight in the former chapel. Santo Mauro is not a hotel, but an invitation: stay, wander, be part of a Madrid with soul.
